Who we are... Who we intend to serve...

Serve With Wisdom is here to inspire and reinvigorate you. We offer mindfulness self-care practices and resources for educators and providers. Your self-care and wellness matter to us.
Amy and I have worked in schools for over 40 years combined. We have survived the ever-changing teaching trends, philosophies, and mandates while working in private and public school systems.
Amy and I rely on our mindfulness practice to keep us grounded and steady during the difficulties of the school day. Our practice also rejuvenates us and reminds us to pay attention to our blessings.
We know the work you do is not easy and also so important.
We developed this blog for all educators and providers. This includes teachers, counselors, social workers, school psychologists, administrators, paraeducators, all related service providers, and additional staff that serve students and families daily.
This blog uses the titles “provider” and “educator” interchangeably, as well as “kids”, “children”, “youth”, and “students”. This is done with inclusivity in mind.

This blog can help you...
Be curious about what is happening now versus in the past or future.
Embody a sense of joy in what you say and do daily.
Find playfulness and perseverance when things start getting heavy.
Determine practical and effective approaches for taking care of yourself.
The benefits of mindfulness...
Consistent and intentional mindfulness practice can help you self-regulate your brain and nervous system. In turn, you can lower stress levels, increase your concentration, and enjoy your job and life.
Our journey together...
You matter and make a difference. We hope that this blog will be a resource to help you stay fulfilled and motivated each day you walk into the school building or
office. We offer guidance to enhance your inspiration around your “why” for choosing to be an educator/provider.
We are so grateful to be a part of your practice.
Enjoy the ride…
Amy & Greg
